Agriculture runs deep in Brett’s blood from his family’s ties to farming in the Midwest. Curiosity for his own practice of growing food and stewarding the land sparked when he met farmer and food activist, Janie Burns.  Since 2009, Brett has been learning, growing and harvesting alongside Janie at Meadowlark Farm in Nampa, Idaho. Brett is also a founding member of Jacob’s Garden, the new small-scale farm on the grounds of the world famous Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival.
